  • When minerals are in balance → water moves in both directions and the cell remains stable
  • When there are sufficient electrolytes in the blood and tissues, water is better retained where the body needs it.
  • If electrolyte levels are low and you drink a lot of plain water, your blood becomes “diluted” and your body begins to excrete the excess water.
