We have reached a new post COVID-19 era in which old social habits and structures have gone the way of the dodo. With this in mind it is becoming increasingly possible to create a life based on emerging structures.
Many of us have been anticipating an opportunity to create a more ethical lifestyle. It is clear that the time for this is upon us; and it is in the hands of the conscious creators to craft a new, modern reality. The transmission of life depends on this, both in Estonia, and on a global scale. We need to take responsibility in order to navigate the growing social chaos if we are to create a truly life-supporting and self-organizing sustainable way of life in Estonia.
The amplification of absurdities in the so-called old social order has long since reached a breaking point, and yet this process continues. He who has eyes, he sees, he who hears, he hears, and he who has heart, can distinguish between truth and illusion.
On the Fonte News channel, we have published articles on the most acute societal concerns, especially regarding the right of people to be well informed and thusly be properly able to decide about their own health. A person who has consciously taken responsibility for his life and the creation of reality knows their rights and is able to stand up for themselves. People who do not falter in the midst of the social upheaval will weather the chaos intact and carry on with life.
Being self-sufficient is a key word of modern society. The more independent the community is from the old structures, the better. Ideally with its own energy source, the possibility of growing clean food, access to clean water and, of course, living in harmony with nature is vital.
This includes community social cohesion (shared values being important), sensible sharing of technical resources, a holistic school for children and retraining opportunities for adults, as well as awareness of how to stay healthy and to treat illness or injury (or be mutually supportive in the healing process).
When we look at this list of vital functions, it is very reminiscent of the once-integrated village society of our forebears. Paradoxically, it is the so-called Corona era that has pushed us in this direction – work is being done from home, children are studying at home and everyone who can has moved out of the city. Today, however, community living is possible in other forms than being geographically close to rural areas.
In addition to traditional so-called eco-communities, community structures are also being created in cities, and community life can also be promoted via the Internet on the basis of like-mindedness.
Estonians are a resilient and powerful nation that has survived very difficult times, and there is no doubt that we Estonians will survive this time as well, despite the great social upheaval that is occurring around the world. It is important to remember that creating fear and causing people to quarrel with one another has always been an effective tool of the old system, and they are still trying to make the most out of it. So let us trust our heart, intuition and common sense, let us stand in empathy and love. Let us create community structures on the principle of self-organization and let us support each other! The new one cannot be born in its entirety until the old structures have left the arena.
It is a natural cycle of life, reminiscent to nature: the death of old, exhausted organisms is inevitable. Thus, the demise of the old social order and the associated chaos is inevitable. If we keep the focus on creating a new way of life – in harmony with the integrity and biodiversity of nature and in cooperation with all the soulful people – even the most absurd details acquire their meaning in a great social play. Despite the tragic tones, there are good episodes in this drama of life. Do not forget to laugh at yourselves, as well!
